Senior Cloud Architect (AWS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) in Westlake, TX.

Summary:
You will work with the business and technology leadership to build capability maps, define target architectures, architecture roadmaps, and help deliver the technical products that enable and support our business capabilities. You will be hands-on in developing and supporting architecture processes throughout the organization and work closely with business leadership, product owners, architects, and engineers in an agile environment to help them understand our architecture process and follow the required standards and help them engage in our best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years of experience engineering/developing web enabled applications and some combination of the following:
* Proven track record as a solution architect, architecting, designing, and building new solutions with very strong analysis skills or prior experience as a business architect with deep experience in business architecture practices
* Experience with Agile development methodology
* Experience with Micro-Service Architecture & SOA
* Experience in all aspects of AWS cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data)
* Working knowledge in all aspects of solution architecture (infrastructure/network topology, application architecture operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization)
* Working knowledge of an architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF)
* Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages
* Well versed in Java, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and Typescript
* Working knowledge of continuous integration/deployment
* Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture, design, and implementation
* Heightened awareness, experience or passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
* Experience with agile development, DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery
* Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
