Technical Project Manager

Title: Project Manager

Client: State of New York

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 24 Months

Work Hours: 40 hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Develop the project schedule, maintain the schedule to track progress, manage issues, and changes through a change management process, manage user acceptance of deliverables, facilitate meetings, prepare status reports, and ensure adherence to project management standards and methodologies.
• Work in coordination with a team of developers to write the new enhancements for the applications.
• Work with team and collaborate with other ITS technical groups to support application releases.
• Provide production support to user as needed.
• Meet with Clients to review new requests and gather requirements.
• The individual in this position will work as the Project Manager under the direction of the Portfolio Manager.
• Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL

Required Skills

• 84 Months of experience engaging in project management communication including guiding team meeting, customer interface activities, resolve project issues with Operation and development teams, prepare reports using Microsoft Office Suite particular MS project and Excel for status to IT leadership and agency executive management.
• 84 Months of experience in engaging in project communication including guiding regularly scheduled project team meetings, preparing meeting summaries, facilitating meetings to resolve project issues, preparing status reports, presenting project status briefings to personnel, presenting project status briefings to project steering committees and/or agency executive management.
• 84 Months of experience in developing and managing l multi-tiered applications using Object Oriented patterns, ASP.Net, C# / VB, WCF, MVC, Bootstrap, HTML, XML, and third-party controls
• 84 months experience using Java script libraries jQuery, AngularJS or later.
• 84 months experience developing database applications using Oracle 11g or later, PL/SQL Queries, and stored procedures.
• 84 Months of experience in assisting stakeholders in data analysis, gathering business rules and applying security for the design and implementation of business intelligence using Microsoft SSRS reporting.
