Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Portage, Michigan. This long-term contract role offers the opportunity to lead the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence systems while collaborating with senior management to shape data strategies. The position requires a proactive individual capable of solving complex technical challenges and enhancing decision-making capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and systems.
Collaborate with business and IT leadership to identify, prioritize, and address data and information needs.
Solve intricate technical problems to optimize the performance and usability of business intelligence tools.
Develop and implement testing methodologies and criteria to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Create and deliver training programs to guide users in leveraging business intelligence tools for strategic decision-making.
Establish and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for business intelligence systems and tools.
Define and monitor data quality metrics to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
Stay current with emerging technologies and propose business cases for innovative business intelligence solutions.
Apply expertise independently to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Evaluate and analyze data to inform and support critical business decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or substantial equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence or a similar analytical role.
Proven ability to address complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Strong understanding of business intelligence technologies and enterprise-wide systems.
Experience in developing testing methodologies and data quality metrics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and coach users on BI tools.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities based on factual data.
Familiarity with research and analysis processes to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
