Job Details

Job Title: Senior IKA Configuration Analyst
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Long Beach, CA)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (3-6 months)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, claims administration, or health plan operations, with at least 3 years configuring ikaSystems' software (ikaEnterprise, ikaClaims, or similar).
  • Deep expertise in claims configuration, including rule-based workflows, auto-adjudication, and compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial requirements.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor teams, with experience developing training materials and leading workshops.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in analyzing claims data and translating requirements into technical configurations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in healthcare IT or project management (e.g., CHIMS, PMP).
  • Experience with other health plan platforms (e.g., QNXT, Facets) or integration with legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Prior experience in a senior or lead role within a health plan or healthcare technology firm.
