Job Title: Assistant Professional 2
Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM
Contract: 12 months Contract with a possibility of extension
Location: Hoffman Estates IL 60195
Pay rate: $30/hr- $32/hr
Job Description:
Role Details:
Position Type: Onsite, 5 days a week.
Travel Requirements: None.
Experience Required: Minimum 2-3 years; 5 years in Admin or Project support is nice to have.
Interview Process: First phone interview, followed by an onsite interview with a team of three.
Must-Have Skills:
1. Excellent oral and written communication.
2. Strong aptitude for working within computer applications like Microsoft Teams and Excel, and ability to learn various unique software tools.
3. Detail orientation.
4. Basic understanding of accounting practices.
5. Problem-solving skills, ability to work autonomously, and take direction.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with SAP and Tempest applications.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Dynamic team player.
Associates degree.
Will be working at the front desk of the Engineering Department, acting as the point of contact for office Engineering Service, and supporting two locations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Timely completion of assigned tasks.
Detailed accuracy of data entry.
Coordination of events.
Efficient office management tasks.
Participates and supports Engineering management as part of a team in accomplishing tasks in a variety of areas of responsibility. Task assignments and daily direction for this position are received from a Senior Assistant Professional within the group.
Responsible areas include, but are not limited to:
1) Traditional Admin tasks include scheduling and setting up meetings, coordinating travel or events, data entry, and general support.
2) Procurement tasks include placing material orders for engineering projects and office materials as part of a larger team following a common process.
3) Office manager tasks may include stocking of kitchen/office supplies as well as collecting and distributing mail and packages via Shipping & Receiving
