About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to build scalable, secure, and cloud-native services that power our Cost Containment solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, Spring Cloud, microservices, and cloud platforms, with hands-on use of AI-powered developer tools to boost productivity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services (Java/Spring Cloud, Kafka, Mulesoft).

  • Build and enrich APIs and data services for partner integrations and claims engine.

  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to improve development workflows.

  • Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to deliver business rule-driven solutions (Drools/BRMS).

  • Drive automation to improve SLAs and operational efficiency.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring reusable and cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud, with expertise in microservices & Kafka.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform).

  • Skilled in SQL/PostgreSQL and building data-intensive services.

  • Familiarity with BRMS (Drools, Kogito) a plus.

  • Regular user of AI-enhanced developer tools.

  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

  • Proven track record of delivering and maintaining complex systems.
