Position : GenAI Data Scientist
Location : Dallas/Irving, TX / Basking Ridge, NJ / Atlanta, GA (Onsite Position)
Contract : 6+ months and extendable
Salary range - $70K/Annum - $90K/Annum. Candidate will be working on Danta Technologies Payroll. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate. We cannot work on C2C for this position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Generative AI Data Scientist to join our dynamic AI/ML team. This role is pivotal in developing, deploying, and optimizing advanced Generative AI models and large language models (LLMs) to drive innovation across our products and services. You will leverage your expertise in deep learning, natural language processing, and data science to build intelligent systems that generate Client insights, content, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art Generative AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer-based architectures like BERT.
- Apply advanced Deep Learning and Machine Learning techniques to solve complex problems, focusing on natural language processing (NLP) tasks such as text generation, summarization, and understanding.
- Conduct extensive data analysis and feature engineering using Python and Pandas to prepare datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Build, train, and fine-tune models using frameworks such as PyTorch, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Utilize PySpark for large-scale data processing and distributed computing to handle massive datasets efficiently.
- Work with structured and unstructured data, leveraging SQL for data extraction and manipulation from various databases.
- Implement efficient Data Structures and algorithms to optimize model performance and computational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and researchers, to integrate AI/ML solutions into production systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Gen AI, LLMs, and AI/ML research, continuously evaluating and recommending new technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and model training to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio in AI/ML projects.
- Expertise in Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) is essential.
- Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries like Pandas for data manipulation.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Deep Learning and Machine Learning principles and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with NLP techniques and architectures, particularly Bert Transformers.
- Proficiency in at least one major deep learning framework, preferably PyTorch.
- Strong command of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks like PySpark.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
