RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architect in Orlando, FL.

Job Purpose:
* Enterprise Architect will identify, develop, implement, and support strategic technology planning and decision processes across the Commission to support strategic priorities, alignment and efficiency through technology roadmaps, standards, and project guidance, while reducing risks
* Collaborate with business, solution, and technical architects across the Commission to facilitate technology transformation, optimization, planning and design activities; Ensuring that the technology strategy and business direction are aligned and optimized while risks are mitigated
* Mentor and educate colleagues about new technologies, best practices, and standards that will increase employee productivity
* The focus of this role is on Cloud Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Primary Functions:
* Analyze current systems, integrations, and business requirements for technology needs
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement around technology
* As an Enterprise Architect, you will develop and create current state and future state models on systems, processes, and integrations, by working with business and technical architects to define future state capabilities
* Be a point of reference and a resource on existing capabilities, systems, processes, and integrations
* Mentor, teach, coach, and instruct IT team members and team leaders on pertinent IT topics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology and Management, Information Technology, or related field of study from an accredited college or university

Working knowledge of all, but not limited to the following:
* Systems architecture and design
* Standards and governance processes
* Technology presentations on emerging trends and adoption of new technology
* Technology standards
* Emerging technology
* IT Systems, applications, integrations, and standards
* IT Architecture (On Prem and Cloud)

Familiarity with all, but not limited to the following:
* Application business capabilities
* Roadmaps and presentations for evolving systems architectures
* Documentation on current system architectures
* Documentation on future state architecture
* Cybersecurity practices
* Business ecosystems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
* Software Applications (i.e., CC&B, AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Project, Oracle, SQL Server and Cloud Databases, Integration Technologies [Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Representational State Transfer (REST), etc.)
* Enterprise Architecture standards (TOGAF, Zachman)
* Related industry, organizational and departmental policies, practices, and procedures; Legal guidelines, ordinances, and laws
* Excellent communication, both verbal and written
* Excellent organizational skills
* Prioritize and work independently
* Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
* Understand and apply governmental accounting practices in maintenance of financial records
* Ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages
* Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and standard office equipment (computer, telephone, etc.)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
