Summary:
We are seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to provide hands-on configuration, administration, and troubleshooting support for Cisco ACI and related network technologies during the migration and modernization of DoD data centers in Europe. This position works closely with the Lead Cisco Network Engineer to execute network buildouts, apply security policies, and maintain operational continuity throughout the migration process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of resolving technical challenges independently, while collaborating effectively in a high-paced, small-team environment.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.

Core Role Responsibilities:
- Implement network configuration changes based on migration designs.
- Maintain operational readiness of network infrastructure during migration activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Perform validation testing and document results.
- Support network cutover events, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with systems and cybersecurity engineers to ensure integration across technical areas.
Technical Knowledge & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Cisco ACI configuration and APIC administration.
- Experienced with enterprise-class TCP/IP routing and switching.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN integration in a data center context.
- Skilled in implementing VLANs, VRFs, and policy-based networking.
- Apply security configurations and best practices to network devices.
- Proficient in using automation and scripting languages relevant to networking and network integration (e.g. Python or REST API scripting for Cisco ACI/network devices, Bash/Python for security tools and Linux-based systems).
- Experience developing scripts or using automation frameworks to streamline configuration management, system provisioning, monitoring, and reporting in enterprise data center environments.
- Skilled in leveraging vendor-specific automation platforms and APIs (e.g., Cisco NX-OS/ACI automation, security tool API integrations) to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Minimum Education:
