Job Description:
Clientis seeking a skilled and motivated Network Security Administrator II to support its Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. The candidate will be respo
nsible for administering and supporting SailPoint Identity Now and Ping Identity platforms to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems and resources.
Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain SailPoint Identity Now and Ping Identity platforms
Assist with onboarding applications to the SailPoint platform
Implement and manage identity governance policies, access certifications, and RBAC
Collaborate with internal technical and functional teams to onboard applications and services into the IAM ecosystem
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IAM-related issues ensuring platform availability and performance
Support audit and compliance initiatives by providing access reports and documentation
Assist in developing and enforcing IAM standards, procedures, and best practices
Participate in incident response and remediation activities related to identity and access
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Apply creative problem-solving techniques to complex IAM challenges
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
4+ years of hands-on experience administering SailPoint and/or Ping Identity
7+ years experience with:
Directory services (Active Directory, LDAP)
SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
7+ years experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar
Experience working in large enterprise IAM environments
Strong understanding of:
Provisioning & de-provisioning
Access reviews & certifications
Entitlement management
Proven ability to troubleshoot IAM platform issues
Ability to interpret and apply security policies and standards
Strong collaboration skills for technical documentation and solution support
5+ years experience implementing Enterprise Systems Integration
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years experience working with State of Texas government agencies
Certifications such as:
SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer
Ping Identity Certified Professional
Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks
