Job Details

-10+ years of experience in mainframe development complex programs using Cobol, including: JCL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, Netron, VSAM, CICS, CA7, SAS, SDSF.
-This is for a project where small business card processes will be expanded considerably to meet the needs of a new client. The piece I am focused on will require rewriting the mainframe data pulls needed to provide information to the Falcon product for authorization decisions.
-This position was requested as a level 4 position with the expectation that the candidate would have leadership experience that would allow for coordinating the work of other team members. This would include oversight of their deliverables, strong analytical skills and corresponding design skills as well as coding and testing abilities. There would be a mix of meetings/analysis/design/coding and testing.
-Since this is opened as a senior level position, we would expect 15-20 years of experience in mainframe development. Standard Cobol/mainframe skills would be required including COBOL CICS JCL DB2 VSAM. Additional soft skills would include excellent communication, team leadership, strong analysis and ability to understand business needs and requirements, solid design skills.
-Focus is on Risk Management. We support large volume processing with high availability requirements. Current team supports processing related to mainframe functions that support data provisioning and processing tied to the Falcon product.
5+ years strong experience of DB2 database, z/OS Debugger, DFSORT, JCL and COBOL
