Support Engineering Technical Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Integrated Data Systems is seeking a highly motivated Support Engineering Technical Manager (Level K) to lead our dynamic team in Seal Beach, CA.
Position Overview:
As the leader of the Visual Media and Technical Services Team, you will manage and guide a group dedicated to supporting and enhancing Maintenance Engineering computing applications utilized by both engineers and customers. This team plays a crucial role in upholding Boeing's security initiatives and requirements while ensuring compliance with Boeing IT standards for all new developments. Additionally, the team oversees the creation of graphics for all maintenance documents produced by the Maintenance Engineering (ME) organization.
Through professionalism and expertise, the team consistently seeks to implement cost-saving strategies and reduce turnaround times by effectively managing priorities and schedules, all while delivering the highest quality illustrations for our internal and external customers. - Manages employees perform technical or specialist activities within Product Support.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
- Leads and manages a team of technical support engineers across multiple disciplines.
- Sets team goals, monitors performance, and provides coaching and development opportunities.
- Oversees daily support operations, ensuring customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Maintains service levels and improves support processes to drive team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Works closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to address recurring issues and improve products and services.
- Monitors support trends, tracks team performance, and reports on key metrics to leadership.
- Ensures the support team uses effective tools and automation to streamline workflows and reduce resolution times.
- Manages staffing and resource planning to meet current and future support needs.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and industry regulations, including data privacy and security standards.
- Maintains and improves documentation and knowledge bases to support internal training and customer self-service.

- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with aerospace products and/ or product support
- 3+ years of experience with engineering management or technical management
- 3+ years of experience with developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in functioning in a cross-functional environment
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong natural leadership style that motivates and inspires excellence and innovation
- Gains others' trust by demonstrating openness and honesty, behaving consistently, and acting in accordance with moral, ethical, professional, and organizational guidelines
