Job Title: Infrastructure and System Admin
Location: El Monte, CA - Has to work 4 days at least onsite at the client.
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Experience: 10 Years
Local to CA profiles is First Priority
(Need 4-5 Years of Financial Domain experience in Recent Projects)
Description of Services and Role:
· Coordinate vendors/MSPs: SLAs, tickets, releases, and change windows.
· Administer application environments on AWS (EC2/ECS/RDS basics, IAM hygiene).
· Manage backups/restores with Veeam; monitor jobs and test recovery.
· Support VMware environments (provision VMs, snapshots, performance checks).
· Assist in minor .NET app tasks (config, builds, simple fixes), and deployment pipelines.
· Maintain runbooks, asset lists, and uptime/incident metrics.
What you’ll bring:
· 2–4 years in app/ops or service delivery with strong vendor management.
· Hands-on with Veeam backups, VMware vSphere, and AWS fundamentals.
· Basic .NET understanding (configs, logs, build/deploy) plus scripting (PowerShell/CLI).
· Familiar with ITIL practices (incidents/changes), monitoring, and documentation.
· Clear communicator, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders.
· Nice to have: AWS Associate cert, Veeam VMCE, basic SQL, experience with Jira/ServiceNow, CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
