** 100% Remote - Should be based in Eastern OR Central Time-zone **

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Our Financial Client is on a Digital Transformation journey to strategize, implement, and automate end-to-end product delivery using turn-key technologies. To support this journey, they are seeking an Engineer with a passion for programming and knowledge in Cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, in general, and AWS-specific cloud components such as EC2, EKS, AWS Lamda functions, API Gateway, and RDS. The engineer/Developer is expected to provide strategy and implement enterprise-scale service mesh and sidecar architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities:
Work as an individual contributor within the Cloud development platform team, focused on developing and maintaining an in-house built CI/CD automation pipeline

Highly advanced knowledge of Release automation using CI/CD products that is applied to advance the goals and objectives of the team and department

Recognized by the team as an expert in CI/CD automation

Deploy critical infrastructure components through Infrastructure-as-Code tooling across multiple environments using Terraform integrated through Azure DevOps

Manages activities within a department, developing tactical plans for strategy and implementation for release automation for varying maturity levels of software products

Support the development of compelling features using modern tools and technologies with a focus on building future-proof systems that perform at scale

Architecting and developing stateless and stateful applications using AWS cloud technologies

Provide software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming

Establishes Cloud Infrastructure Design best practices, templates, and processes

Collaborates with external and internal partners, participates, and suggests design and architectural decisions

Other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent

Experience working on automation and developmental works related to infrastructure operations

Extensive experience in developing CI/CD Pipelines using GitOps methodologies and technologies such as FluxCD, ArgoCD

Experience in working and implementing Kubernetes and Service mesh technologies such as Istio, LinkerD for communication between services

Experience in implementing Karpenter for Scaling of API's in the Cloud

Proficient in various AWS cloud components for designing and building stateful and stateless applications

Terraform expertise building IaaC

Azure DevOps knowledge is a plus

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
