Job Details
Our client is a technical engineering firm. They seek a Lead Designer (AutoCAD & REVIT) to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, providing strategic direction and oversight across all phases of delivery
- Advise on technology implementations, relocations, and IT infrastructure enhancements
- Recommend solutions for integrated security and audiovisual technologies to drive client success
- Oversee design team operations, including system selections and layout development
- Execute all project phases, including initiation, planning, design, execution, and close-out
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project challenges, resolving issues efficiently
- Facilitate communication with clients, stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure design accuracy and consistency by reviewing and approving technical deliverables
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows and enhance project efficiency
- Drive client satisfaction by delivering innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology
- 8+ years of Technology Project Management experience
- 5+ years of experience managing and designing projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and composed under pressure
- Able to manage strict timelines with multiple projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and AutoCAD & REVIT
