Application Engineer (Full Stack)

Job Title: Application Engineer (Full Stack)
Duration: 3 Month contract; chance to extend/convert to full time.
Location: Riverwoods, IL (ONSITE)
Pay: $60-80
Industry: Financial

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Computer Science or related
• 3+ Years Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
• Experience in Cloud Technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining APIs, containerized applications/services, and IaaS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkin, Git/GitHub, or Gitlab
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Programming language experience in Python. Experience in more than one language (Java, C#, Node, etc.) and can pick up a new language quickly.

Desired Requirements:

• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform
• Experience with contract testing using Pact and/or setting up Pact Broker
• Experience with Golang
• Full stack web applications development experience using React, Node.js
• Risk management knowledge
