RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Grafana Dashboard Specialist.
Responsibilities:
* Build Grafana dashboards and integrate data sources (Prometheus, Loki, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Snowflake, AWS)
* Connect telemetry from apps, OS, databases, and APIs; Implement alerting for SLA breaches and anomalies
* Manage OpenTelemetry instrumentation, collectors, and pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces
* Develop monitoring solutions for high availability and performance; optimize dashboards for usability
* Architect CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus) and implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible
* Automate deployments and scaling for cloud and on-prem environments; ensure reliability and security
* Act as SME for observability and automation; lead performance improvement initiatives
* Provide training, documentation, and drive OpenTelemetry adoption; Stay current with DevOps trends
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation roles
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Grafana and dashboard development
* Experience with monitoring tools
* Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and data collection
* Deep understanding of CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
* Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
* Familiarity with security and compliance in automated environments
* Strong proficiency in scripting languages
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
