Test Analyst - SAP
Columbus, OH Hybrid (3-5 days onsite per week)

This role is responsible for test preparation and test execution activities and will partner and collaborate with application teams. Must have experience in the design and execution of test cases, Bug tracking, hands on testing with SAP ECC specifically around inventory management, testing SAP CAR - Order/Transaction processing and Inventory updates, and understanding of different testing types like sprint test, smoke test, regression, end to end , integration etc.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes, technologies, and architectures.
- Creates or modifies test scenarios and test cases that are in alignment with functional requirements.
- Ensures appropriate test data is defined and available in the test environment
- Executes and statuses test cases, including proof of testing.
- Clearly document defects, and retests fixes in a timely manner in required test management tool.
- Effectively communication progress and status to test lead/manager.
- Deliver quality work to meet the needs of application teams and business partners.
- Work in a collaborative project environment with cross-functional teams.
- Assists in driving issues to closure.
- Complete assignments on time in accordance with the priorities identified by the test lead.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Experience in SAP ECC and SAP CAR testing.
- Knowledge of SAP inventory management processes such as Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers, Cycle Counting and Inventory Adjustments.
- Familiarity with tables like MARA, MARD and MAKT.
- Understanding of SAP CAR integrations with SAP ECC, SAP BW and POS systems.
- Hands on knowledge on POSDTA and Inventory Visibility.
- Understanding of IDocs used in data loads and ability to trace data flows from source systems to SAP and downstream apps.
- Knowledge of retail business processes (sales, return, promotions, inventory availability).
- Ability to validate tables using SQL queries.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
- Experience working on projects with multiple teams and resources.
- Experience working in an onshore/offshore model.
- Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
- Organizational and planning skills.
