Description

The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Data Analyst to support the IT Service Delivery effort for USTRANSCOM (USTC) located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois, approximately 20 Miles from St. Louis, MO. This role is primarily onsite with some hybrid remote capability.

The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Subordinate Commands, and other supporting organization as directed on behalf of the Command Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).



As a Data Analyst you will drive the process of accumulating, analyzing and processing huge data sets to derive insights while making smarter business decisions. It employs different techniques, including data mining, predictive analytics, correlations, data discovery, visualization and more. Enterprise analytics discover potholes in the customer journey, identify emerging trends in the IT Service Delivery industry or user experience processes. As an Enterprise data analyst you will help the organization convert complex information into actionable insights and take proactive actions to achieve objectives.













Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting development efforts for applications within the federal government.

The candidate is adept at manipulating big data sets and conducting exploratory data analysis.

The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve enterprise outcomes.

Conduct end-to-end analysis that consists of data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.

Develops and manages information to support enterprise decision making.

Provides analytics support to leadership and other teams.

Interact cross-functionally with teams and work closely with them to identify improvements for SAIC engaged solutions.

Responsible for data pipelines and business intelligence reports in Power BI.

Responsible for business intelligence reports in ServiceNow.

Responsible for analytics in Databricks (SQL or Python) on an as needed basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting data analysis in DAX, Python, or a low code environment.

The candidate can utilize machine learning and AI in a low code environment.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance

BA/BS in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience

7+ years data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software or equivalent related education

ITIL 4 Foundations

Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods

Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, decision making, customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, project management, quality management, teamwork, written communication, group presentations, group process facilitation, influence, results orientation, strategic thinking, and team building

Ability to become familiar with basic project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

ServiceNow (Certified System Administrator certification) within 6 Months of start date.

Prior experience working on customer site

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
