Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ/New York, NY. Youwill develop end-to-end test cases and troubleshooting failures while ensuring robust web services and database testing.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress.
- Write and execute automated test cases in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript to ensure coverage of critical functionalities.
- Perform web services testing using tools like Rest Assured and validate data across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Debug and troubleshoot test failures, providing timely resolutions to maintain reliability of the testing suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving innovation and ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in automation testing and framework development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium (TestNG), or Cypress, and proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of web services testing, Rest Assured, and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git/GitHub.
