Vendor Management Consultant - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is seeking a Vendor Management Consultant for a 6-month contract position with a leading financial services organization. This position is fully remote.

Summary:
Genesis10 is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Vendor Management Consultant who will support the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) team in executing vendor management processes and procedures that strengthen the organization's ability to meet evolving leadership and regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to implement the supplier management framework, monitor supplier performance, and apply governance best practices to mitigate risk and enhance supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with strong skills in data management and program execution. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency and compliance of the supplier governance program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing supplier management and governance processes that align with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with business partners to onboard critical suppliers and establish governance frameworks and best practices.
• Monitor supplier activities, ensuring adherence to compliance and performance expectations.
• Maintain data integrity across all supplier governance systems and documentation.
• Support program operations by managing backend processes and maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of supplier governance tools, templates, and processes.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and value creation within supplier partnerships.
• Provide analytical and organizational support to supplier compliance, performance, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Experience in supplier management, vendor governance, procurement operations, or a related field.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with a focus on accuracy and process efficiency.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across business functions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements preferred.
• Prior experience in a financial services or corporate procurement environment is a plus.
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
