MEP Field Coordinator Mission-Critical Data Center Projects
We are seeking an experienced MEP Field Coordinator to join our team and oversee the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
What You ll Do
We are seeking an experienced MEP Field Coordinator to join our team and oversee the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
What You ll Do
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for MEP subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with project schedules and specifications
- Conduct daily inspections to verify quality, code compliance, and adherence to design standards
- Review MEP drawings, manage redlines, and ensure accurate as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve field conflicts between trades and proactively identify potential installation issues
- Support testing, commissioning, and final turnover, including punch list development and closeout
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Participate in daily coordination meetings, providing progress updates to project leadership
- 3 5 years of MEP field coordination or related construction experience (mission-critical/data center experience strongly preferred)
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in large-scale projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, BIM 360, or Bluebeam
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive mindset
