Overview

Our client has an urgent need for a CLEARED Test Engineer to join their team in Springfield, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the program master test plan, with a specific focus on classified test execution, test environment maintenance, and test case development for clients transitioning to Azure Stack and Hyperscale environments.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute various test events, including System Integration & Dry Run (SIDR), System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Site Validation Test, and Mission Acceptance Test.
  • Conduct formal test reviews, including Test Readiness Review and Post Test Review.
  • Engage in test strategy activities, such as Requirements Verification & System Validation, Customer Requirements Validation, Test Case Development, Test Incident Identification & Management, Test Incident Report (TIR) Processing, and Test Metrics Management.
  • Compile or develop test cases for the Test Plan.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects as per Test Lead guidance.
  • Perform tests according to the Test Plan.
  • Provide regular status updates to the Test Lead and input test results into test tools.
  • Track the progress of test execution and test results in relevant test tools.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of testing software and recommend alternative solutions.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in system testing with a focus on automation testing, including proficiency in:
    • Test automation tools like Cucumber, Watir, or TestComplete.
    • Testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jasmine, or Selenium.
    • Authoring Test cases and documenting test results.
  • Agile development methodologies and software testing processes.
  • Understanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (GitHub/AzureDevOps).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (AZ-104 or equivalent). Experience working in small teams with increasing responsibility..
