Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business System Analyst (BSA) with deep expertise in Pega technology to join our digital transformation and automation team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring Pega-driven workflows, applications, and processes deliver measurable business value. The Senior BSA will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, creating mockups and flows, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and future-ready systems.

The Senior BSA will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, creating mockups and flows, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and future-ready systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment of business goals with Pega-based solutions.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and process mapping to capture both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and validate flows, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Visio, Figma, Balsamiq, Pega App Studio).
- Utilize JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking delivery progress.
- Partner with solution architects and developers to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and within Pega best practices.
- Support testing strategy: assist with UAT planning, defect triaging, and validation of system functionality against requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, process optimization, and reusability within Pega.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, Pega capabilities, and best practices for digital process automation.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst or similar role focused on Pega technology (PRPC, Customer Decision Hub, Case Management, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling, workflow automation, and rules-based decisioning.
- Expertise in creating flows, mockups, wireframes, and process diagrams using tools such as Visio, Figma, Balsamiq, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO) for agile project execution.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and communicate effectively across business and IT teams.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or digital automation programs preferred.
- Pega Business Architect or related Pega certifications are highly desirable.
