Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is ideal for candidates with at least one year of hands-on IT experience and a strong foundation in hardware and software support. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows 10 environments and be comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is ideal for candidates with at least one year of hands-on IT experience and a strong foundation in hardware and software support. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows 10 environments and be comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Support Windows 10 operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
- Set up and configure new workstations and equipment for end users.
- Provide remote and in-person support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Note: Candidates with strong hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software support practices.
- Proficiency in supporting Windows 10 environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
