Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.The Data Center Operations group is looking for a Reverse Logistics Program Specialist to support the site Reverse Logistics strategy. This role will be responsible for the performance of the site media management program including but not limited to the management of resale, recycle, and wiping of all assets & media. In this role you will focus on collaborating with peers from other sites to continue to refine the strategy, structure, and process of our enterprise media management program. We seek a self starter who can work independently while also providing training and guidance to site resources. We are looking for leadership capabilities to drive standard methodologies for logistics and asset management operations.This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and resourcefulness are key attributes needed for success. Strong project and time-management skills, with an ability to prioritize and drive critical tasks and objectives in support of organizational goals is valued.

Key Qualifications

3+ years leading operations in data centers, warehousing, inventory management, shipping/receiving or general logistics operationsExperience with IT environments, operations and/or logistics across multiple sites preferredProven knowledge in asset and material managementExperience with asset or material management applications considered a plusMaintains an awareness and understanding of relevant industry trends and standard processes to ensure IT Asset Management initiatives are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory and industry trends.Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsAbility to pull together many sources of information to help prioritize, train and lead operationsExperience with oversight of third party vendors for the implementation of media management activitiesSkilled in process creation, control, and continuous improvement with the ability to develop plans and solutions to meet short and long term needsAbility to plan, organize, and motivate others to achieve objectivesSolid communication/coordination skills and the ability to effectively present to the managerial levelMust be a great teammate and have experience working extensively with multi-functional teamsAbility to work under stress and operate in difficult situations

Description

In this role you will drive standard methodologies for logistics operations and inventory management, reporting, and handling. This position will work for the Site Logistics Manager, and the Enterprise Material End-of-Life Program Manager while closely collaborating with Logistics, Site Services, and other key partners to achieve enterprise-wide objectives. You will work with other site program managers to achieve results through efficiency gains and standardization while mitigating risk for Apple. This position will be expected to partner proactively with Apple Infrastructure Services teams and other key partners to meet drive a secure asset and media strategyOther responsibilities include:Responsible to ensure appropriate control mechanisms are in place and achieve exceptional levels of material security and material data accuracyProvide operational daily direction and oversight to others as needed to assist in daily activities supporting the media management function.Maintain site media management training program to assure highly qualified backups for every function.

Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent experience
