Test Coordinator

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Test Coordinator for the RWESS, supporting the Army Division. Test Coordinators are critical members of the test management team who provide program management support utilizing ATEC and RTC Test Management tools including ADSS-PMM, CET, VDLS, SharePoint, PRO3, and the Project Management Dashboard. Test Coordinators track and coordinate test project documentation (proposals, test plans, reports, etc.), financial status, and schedules ensuring all customers and management maintain project situational awareness, thereby enabling the engineers to focus on their respective specialties.

JOB STATUS: Full Time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited* college/ university
  • 1 year of applicable experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; comparing performance against plans; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must also possess excellent analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction including attention to detail as well as supportive of process improvements.
  • Must be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, and PowerPoint), and SharePoint.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • A master's degree and/or a Program Management Professional (PMP) Certificate and/or technical experience performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems are pluses.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test Coordinators (TC) provide program management support utilizing ATEC and RTC Test Management tools including ADSS-PMM, CET, VDLS, SharePoint, PRO3, and the Project Management Dashboard.
  • TCs track and coordinate test project documentation (proposals, test plans, reports, etc.), financial status, and schedules ensuring all customers, Account Managers, Test Engineers, Divisions and Management all maintain situational awareness.
  • Test Coordinators often serve as the direct contact between the government and outside customers as an integral part of a test team and are responsible and accountable to meet all deliverable reporting requirements for test programs and projects.
  • Products produced and maintained by the test coordinator are deliverable to and inspectable by managers internally and by customers externally.
  • Areas under the direct cognizance of the Test Coordinator include but are not limited to: project planning, estimating, reporting, coordinating and execution within a test directorate and routinely cross-directorate.
  • This includes establishing, entering, maintaining, and updating data in multiple software packages to ensure customers have complete and accurate project information at all times.
  • A Test Coordinator will coordinate administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track the cost and schedule of tests.
  • Test Coordinators also ensure labor, material, and travel charges are correct and will communicate to the government and customer.
