responsibilities:


  • Provide end-to-end solution architecture leadership for agent systems, with a special emphasis on the Salesforce Platform (including AgentSync, AgentForce, and Salesforce Data Cloud).
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Principal Architects to advance product lines in alignment with strategic business and technology goals.
  • Design and document sustainable integration patterns, leveraging modern, event-driven architecture and robust data strategies across the enterprise.
  • Lead architectural decisions for major initiatives such as complex system integrations, platform enhancements, and agent onboarding modernization projects.
  • Mentor and guide Systems Architects and Analysts, promoting architectural best practices and fostering technical excellence within the team.
  • Collaborate on cost-benefit analyses, technical documentation, and project plans, ensuring solution quality, integrity, and adherence to security standard

qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of IT architecture and software engineering experience, including the delivery of complex, multi-system solutions.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of recent experience (within the last 7-10 years) in a Salesforce architecture or engineering perspective.
  • Proven record in Salesforce development and administration, with a deep understanding of the Salesforce object model, configuration vs. code focus, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, Confluent Platform, Managed Connectors) and integrating enterprise systems using streaming/event-based architectures.
  • Strong grasp of data integration strategies, tooling, and security (e.g., SQL, MuleSoft, CDC; streaming ingestion into Data Lake platforms like Snowflake or Azure).
  • Architectural experience with secure RESTful API design, implementation, and consumption.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices in Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), automated testing, and modern deployment tooling (AWS, Azure).
  • Business and technical background in the insurance industry (preferably life and annuity), with familiarity with agent/producer business models, onboarding processes, and regulatory nuances.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive technical decisions in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
