JOB DESCRIPTION:
Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. Using complex algorithms, they process all of the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Perform software development of large-scale software solutions.
- Develop and maintain C based applications for satellite ground systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
- Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Conduct software design and code reviews, integrating best practices and innovations.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
- Participate in system integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
- C
- RTOS
- Previous work with satellite ground system software or satellite GPS software
- Knowledge of developing object-oriented software
- Experience with unit and automated functional test tools such as Junit, Jmocket or VectorCast.
- Experienced developing flight safety critical SW development
