Job Description
You will be a Linux System Administrator for our IT Team. Our team is responsible for administering and provisioning Linux desktop and server environments to support our organization's operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux infrastructure, including Debian and Ubuntu distributions. You will administer virtualization platforms, manage repositories and servers, and deploy and administer containerized applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administering Linux desktop and server environments, including Debian and Ubuntu distros
Managing virtualization platforms, such as VSphere and Proxmox
Maintaining APT repositories, NTP, and DNS servers
Deploying and administering Docker containers
Configuring and managing Wireguard and OpenVPN servers
Managing Iptables and executing Bash and Python scripts

Basic Qualifications
Experience administering and provisioning Linux Desktop and Server environments, specifically Debian and Ubuntu distros.
Experience with VSphere and/ or Proxmax administration.
Experience managing Iptables.
Experience with OpenLDAP and PKI administration.
Experience with Bash and Python scripting.
Desired skills
Experience managing APT repositories, NTP, and DNS servers.
Experience with deploying and administering Docker containers.
Experience deploying and administering Wireguard and OpenVPN servers.
Familiarity with Ansible and/ or Salt Stack.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
