A leading Fortune 500 financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager (Cloud) to join its cloud platform team. The organization is undergoing significant digital transformation, with a focus on leveraging public cloud technologies to modernize infrastructure and improve service delivery across global operations.
Position Overview
The Technical Product Manager will play a critical role in driving the strategic vision, development, and delivery of cloud-native solutions, with an emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, security, compliance, and enterprise architecture-to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap for cloud infrastructure capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and digital initiatives.
  • Lead the development and rollout of cloud-native services including container platforms, serverless frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement highly available and compliant cloud architectures.
  • Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and prioritize features based on stakeholder input and value.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud platform capabilities, particularly AWS or Google Cloud Platform, driving best practices and adoption across teams.
  • Define KPIs and success metrics to track and improve product performance.
  • Ensure alignment with security, governance, and compliance standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and regulatory changes, informing product direction and innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, with a strong technical background.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS or Google Cloud Platform in an enterprise setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering cloud-based infrastructure products or platforms.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.

Preferred:
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience within highly regulated environments, ideally financial services or banking.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS, NIST).
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Aha!, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
