Job Details

Role : OpenShift DevSecOps Architect

Location : Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deploy OpenShift clusters in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable DevSecOps pipelines using RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in designing for failure, including disaster recovery and business IT continuity planning
  • Integrate DevSecOps tools, including SAST, DAST tools, and secrets management, into the DevOps pipeline.
  • Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure optimal system health
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications in OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
  • Create and manage Helm charts for application deployment.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Open Tofu for infrastructure management.
  • Build and manage Docker images for application deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms and DevOps pipelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Experience in networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, and service mesh
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 13-15 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong expertise in building and managing DevOps pipelines.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Open Tofu).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, including SAST, DAST tools, and secrets management.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • API Gateway Integration with Kong or Tyk
  • Understanding of Linux
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OpenShift and Kubernetes certifications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
