QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA Manual Tester

Andover, MA (Onsite Position)

FullTime

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements

Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases

Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, and exploratory testing

Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or discrepancies

Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues

Participate in test planning and estimation activities

Provide timely feedback and status updates to the QA lead/project manager

Retest resolved bugs and perform sanity checks

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience as a Automation Engineer or in a similar QA role

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools

Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries (Optional but preferred)

Excellent communication skills
