Job Title: Data & Business Intelligence Engineer
Location: Whippany, NJ
Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are looking for a BI/Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions and analytics dashboards that drive business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Build and optimize data models for reporting and analysis
- Create interactive dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Collaborate with analysts and business teams to define data needs
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or BI development
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
- Proficiency in BI tools and scripting (e.g., Python, dbt)
- Solid understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
