Job Details

Role: Salesforce Architect Location: New York, NY (5 days onsite) Duration: 6 Months with possible extension to long term or hire
Role Description Salesforce Hands-On Architect to provide architectural leadership for a high-impact digital transformation engagement at client. The Architect will guide multi-org application design, component strategy, integration patterns, and package-based deployment architectures. This is a blended role requiring both strategic architecture expertise and periodic hands-on development support (approx. 20 30%), with direct involvement in solution reviews, stakeholder discussions, and DevOps alignment.
Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application and/or System Architect Tools/Skills: Salesforce Architecture, Unlocked Packages, GitLab, CI/CD, Secure Multi-Org Design, FedRAMP/NIST alignment
Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve Salesforce application and integration architecture across a multi-org, highly regulated environment.
  • Lead solution design for new features and capabilities spanning Financial Services Cloud, Government Cloud Plus, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft integrations.
  • Guide modular development strategy using unlocked packages and enforce reuse and versioning standards.
  • Provide architectural oversight on CI/CD pipeline integration using GitLab, including branching strategy, metadata scoping, and deployment sequencing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an Architect role.
  • Certified Salesforce Application and/or System Architect.
  • Proven experience designing solutions in multi-org Salesforce environments with unlocked packaging.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata architecture, modularization strategies, and deployment lifecycle.
  • Experience with GitLab, SFDX, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
  • Strong understanding of data security models, compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST), and public sector platform governance.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud Plus
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Kafka event-driven architectures
  • Previous consulting experience with financial services or federal agencies
  • Exposure to architecture governance frameworks or EA modeling tools (e.g., Lucid chart, Draw.io, ArchiMate
