Job Title: Logistics Consultant

Work Location: Houston, TX(Onsite)

Job Description:

• Develop, execute, and defend supply chain strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in network and leverage stakeholder feedback to prioritize and execute projects.
• Develop strategies for Ocean Freight Logistics, Railroad logistics and LTL/FTL strategies for Road freight
• Develop Freight/transportation operations including high level selection of carrier, routing and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking and analyzing key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turnover and cost performance.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive Logistics & Supply Chain experience
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and industry trends.
• Experience of designing logistic networks and integrating systems
• Understanding of project management creating work breakdown structures and project delivery schedules for design and related services.
