Idexcel s client is looking for a IOS Logistics Assistant Manager to join their team on a Contract basis

 

Job Title: IOS Logistics Assistant Manager

Location: Coppell, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Summary:

  • Support warehouse site operation in order to improve productivity and quality of operation in the mean of process innovation, generate effective reporting and new system implementation.
  • Work with group members to back up each other as needed
  • Lead and/or coordinate a project/activity in order to achieve management directive from regional HQ level or corporate HQ level.
  • SAP (WMS warehouse management system) data mining and data analysis to identify trend and search for more effective ways to operate
  • Help manage all business unit resources to successfully deliver results in quality, cost, safety and service
  • Develop high performing work teams to effectively meet the changing needs of the business by motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
  • Utilize Standard Operating Procedures to resolve and correct problems
  • Produce reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis briefing team leaders on appropriate issues
  • Implement action plans for conducting internal analyses and gap identification; review current or future trends that indicate possible gaps in inbound or outbound functions or employees and make recommendations based on findings
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Prefer Bachelor s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience
  • 5 plus years of work experience and 2 plus years of logistics related experience required
  • Prefer to have SAP knowledge, KPI management, Inventory Accuracy, and Inventory availability
  • Ability to expedite emergency requests and available for business travel up to 20%
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure communication to appropriate stakeholders, with appropriate ad-hoc reports and analyses issued timely and accurately
  • Ability to support the building operations to comply with all regulatory obligations, including but not limited to OSHA, and other government regulations
