Job Details
Job Title : Technical Infrastructure Project Manager
Location : Remote (occasional travel to Nashville; all travel reimbursed at actuals)
Duration : 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Lead projects such as network upgrades, data center migrations, hardware refreshes, and other infrastructure modernization efforts.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; track milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Coordinate across cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders at all levels, including status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, compliance, and security standards throughout project execution.
- Drive accountability, foster collaboration, and maintain a solutions-oriented approach to overcome challenges.
Experience:
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects or programs.
Proven track record in delivering projects such as:
- Data center migrations or consolidations
- Large-scale network upgrades
- IT infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies and environments.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications: PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification is a plus
