Job Title: 100% Remote-Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultant (P2P / GL Integration)-W2 only
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time / Long-term Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultant with strong understanding of the P2P flow, sub-ledger to GL integrations, and journal entry accounting. The ideal candidate will combine functional finance expertise with deep technical knowledge of Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud Financials, ensuring seamless integrations, reporting, and system enhancements across key financial modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and sub-ledger to GL functional flows, ensuring accurate journal posting and reconciliation.
- Design, develop, and support solutions across GL, AP, AR, FA, and FAH modules.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to implement business process improvements and automation.
- Perform functional setup and configurations, troubleshoot accounting entries, and ensure alignment between sub-ledgers and GL.
- Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle objects using OAF, PL/SQL, Forms, and Workflows.
- Build BI Publisher / XML reports, dashboards, and audit controls for financial users.
- Support interfaces and data conversions, ensuring accurate inbound/outbound data flow between Oracle and external systems.
- Work on integration design with upstream and downstream systems, leveraging APIs, web services, and SFTP processes.
- Provide production support, resolve system defects, and ensure data integrity across modules.
- Participate in testing (SIT, UAT) and prepare detailed functional and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Expertise
Functional Expertise
- Strong working knowledge of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
- Deep understanding of accounting flows, sub-ledger transfers, journal posting logic, and financial reconciliations.
Technical Expertise
- Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and personalization/customizations
- XML / BI Publisher report development
- PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Workflows
- Interfaces and data conversions (FBDI, APIs, etc.)
- Integration with third-party and legacy systems (inbound/outbound)
- Familiarity with SSO, SFTP, and OCI infrastructure
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.11 or higher
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials desirable
- Experience with FAH accounting rules, mapping sets, and SLA setup
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance and IT teams
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- Oracle certification (Cloud or EBS Financials) is a plus
