Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking a Plant Office Administrator to join our client s team in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the plant office, providing administrative and operational support to leadership and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing or operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:>
Provide comprehensive administrative support to plant leadership and operations teams.
Manage and maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to office and plant operations.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements efficiently.
Handle internal and external communications, including emails, memos, and phone calls, with professionalism.
Support purchasing activities, inventory management, and replenishment of office and facility supplies.
Assist with onboarding, HR coordination, and other personnel-related administrative duties.
Uphold company standards for safety, security, and compliance across the facility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Perform data entry, reporting, and general documentation using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
Required Skills/Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate s or bachelor s degree preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines independently.
Positive, professional demeanor with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of experience in administrative support, office coordination, or plant operations roles.
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or production environments is a strong plus.
