RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hybrid Mac OS Desktop Engineer to join their team in McLean, VA.
Duties:
* Provide Tier 2/3 support for macOS devices, escalating when necessary
* Administer macOS devices using Microsoft Intune, including Configuration profiles; Compliance policies; Application deployment; Custom scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
* Develop and implement macOS onboarding workflows using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)
* Collaborate closely with the Workstation Management and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless deployment and support
* Create and maintain technical documentation for macOS support, deployment, and configuration
* Assist with end-user support when escalated from the Helpdesk; Assist with training Helpdesk and field technicians in Support Services team
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment
* Hands-on experience managing macOS devices with Microsoft Intune
* Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for macOS automation
* Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and MDM enrollment workflows
* Strong understanding of macOS system architecture, security, and user management
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Azure AD and conditional access policies
* Familiarity with enterprise software deployment and patching strategies
* Ability to create user-facing and internal documentation
Recommended Certifications:
* Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
* Microsoft Certified: Intune Specialist or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
