Division Specific Information
The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is a complex division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.

A Day in the Life
- Inspect parts against drawings/specifications
- Use of various measuring techniques and equipment
- Work with Supplier Quality Engineers on the disposition of the Non-conforming materials
- Assist on first article inspections and reviews
- Assist on collecting and reporting data
- Support other activities as assigned
Keys to Success
Education
- Candidate should possess a high school Diploma
Experience
- 2+ years of relevant working experience in manufacturing
- Dimensional inspection experience preferred
- Printed circuit board experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Candidate should have working knowledge with measurement tools such as: Pin gauges, Calipers, Drop gauges, etc.
- Candidate should have knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (inventory transactions).
- Work independently and self-motivated.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting required
- Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses to be worn at all times.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unaided.
