Division Specific Information

The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is a complex division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.

A Day in the Life

  • Inspect parts against drawings/specifications
  • Use of various measuring techniques and equipment
  • Work with Supplier Quality Engineers on the disposition of the Non-conforming materials
  • Assist on first article inspections and reviews
  • Assist on collecting and reporting data
  • Support other activities as assigned

Keys to Success

Education

  • Candidate should possess a high school Diploma

Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience in manufacturing
  • Dimensional inspection experience preferred
  • Printed circuit board experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Candidate should have working knowledge with measurement tools such as: Pin gauges, Calipers, Drop gauges, etc.
  • Candidate should have knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (inventory transactions).
  • Work independently and self-motivated.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting required
  • Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses to be worn at all times.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unaided.
