Description
We are looking for an Associate Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Hopkins, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position within the financial services industry, offering an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between business operations and IT systems. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting business processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between the business unit and IT, facilitating communication and collaboration to address system and process needs.
Provide case consultation and front-line support to team members, ensuring smooth operations.
Maintain and update documentation related to business systems and processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Conduct training sessions and quality reviews to promote best practices and improve team performance.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards in all business activities.
Assist in basic data analysis and support during compliance and audit reviews.
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare reports and presentations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Monitor and evaluate system performance, addressing issues as they arise.
Support the business unit in achieving operational goals and maintaining system integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
0-2 years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of compliance regulations and applicable laws.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Familiarity with Windows OS and basic data analysis.
Ability to conduct training sessions and quality reviews to support team development.
