Location: LA or Dallas (Hybrid)
Rate: $70/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Solution Architect to lead the modernization of legacy systems through Oracle Cloud technologies. This role demands deep technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle PaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and cloud-native services to design scalable, secure, and efficient architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing legacy systems, identify technical bottlenecks, and recommend cloud-based solutions.

  • Design scalable architecture for migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Develop microservices-based solutions using Oracle PaaS.

  • Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for data and process integration.

  • Incorporate Oracle Autonomous Database, Kubernetes Engine, API Gateway into cloud architecture.

  • Implement security using Oracle IAM and Cloud Guard.

  • Define migration strategies minimizing disruption to business operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Finance, IT).

  • Lead and manage project execution, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in software/system architecture.

  • Proven experience modernizing and migrating legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in OCI, PaaS, OIC, and related services.

  • Knowledge of Docker, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, and serverless computing.

  • Strong grasp of API design, Oracle Database, and NoSQL technologies.

  • Expertise in Oracle IAM, Oracle Cloud Guard, and Cloud-native security best practices.
