We are currently seeking a Senior Test Automation Developer to be part of our highly productive and energetic team. In this role, you will work to support testing for the Salesforce platform to ensure high-quality software delivery. This technically savvy, analytical, process-oriented individual will manage the automation framework, develop test automation, plans, and strategies. Excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential for this position. This is a hybrid (2 days a week Work from Home) and could be based at either our Boston, MA or Naples, FL facilites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support testing activities for various projects: test planning, estimation and scheduling; resource planning, training, and oversight; test development and execution; defect management; daily/weekly status reporting; and project closure. Apply test methodology, define test strategy, and ensure comprehensive testing to adhere to Arthrex quality, security and performance standards.
* Responsible for the test automation and perform automated testing assignments, including integrations with other systems, performance testing if needed, and data migration.
* Work with infrastructure and application development teams to establish and maintain test environments (including test automation).
* Document issues identified during testing activities and communicate them to the development team, assist in the defects triage and resolution, advise on design/architectural solutions for testability, and recommend process/application improvements to management.
* Maintain SQA metrics such as requirements coverage, test case readiness, test execution progress, and defect count and statistics in the SQA test management tool.
* Follow Arthrex standards and procedures. Fulfill SQA obligations for the Arthrex Computer Systems Assurance (CSA) program/process to support FDA requirements, where applicable. Maintain and ensure the completeness of test documentation in test tools and repositories, as well as cross-training documents.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan, create, and execute manual test cases.
* Execute and maintain test automation scripts.
* Gain knowledge of assigned Arthrex software application(s).
* Continuously learning new technologies and trends in the software quality space.
* Assist and mentor peers and offshore SQA testers.
Specialized Skills
* Experience with developing automation scripts in a Test Automation tool preferred (e.g., Selenium, ACCELQ).
* Problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
* Advanced level of testing skills and understanding of test concepts and approaches.
* Experience in Software Quality Assurance performing UI, Functional, and Regression testing of either packaged, custom-developed, web, and/or mobile applications preferred.
* OS and/or browser compatibility testing experience preferred.
* Integration/Interface testing experience preferred.
* CRM knowledge and testing experience preferred.
* Experience using Test Management tools preferred.
* Mobile testing experience is a plus
Education/Experience
* Bachelor s degree required
* 5 + years of relevant work experience required
