Job Title: Sr. Hyperion Developer
Type of Hire: Contract (6+ Months)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Hyperion Developer to support an Oracle EPM Cloud upgrade project. This position requires a highly experienced professional with strong technical expertise in Oracle EPM solutions, particularly in Narrative Reporting, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), and EPBCS (Planning and Budgeting). The role involves developing reports, automating reporting processes, and enhancing business applications with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop reports, report packages, and books within the EPM Narrative Reporting module.

  • Utilize Task Manager to create integrations and templates supporting business tasks for period close reports.

  • Automate POV and prompt settings based on task parameters for user-managed reports.

  • Leverage deep understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud Applications and industry best practices to optimize planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two full-cycle, hands-on implementations of On-Premise to EPM Cloud for Narrative Reporting (NR), FCC, and EPBCS.

  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience with Hyperion EPM suite and Smart View.

  • 5+ years of implementation experience with Oracle EPM Cloud products.

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts including income statements, balance sheets, and financial disclosures.

  • Expertise in Oracle EPM components: ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Load Rules, MaxL, and MDX.

  • Proven experience in developing custom integrations using EPM Data Integration, Data Integration Pipeline, Groovy Business Rules, and EPM Automate.

  • Hands-on scripting experience in Batch, Python, or PowerShell.

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Strong service mindset with a focus on delivering quality solutions.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
