Description:
This is a part-time position requiring an individual to work one day per week, preferably Monday, 1st shift for 8 hours. The candidate will support RFID scanning technology at a recently acquired company.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve computer problems promptly.
  • Escalate requests or issues to the appropriate technical person within IT.
  • Document new solutions and train end users and peers.
  • Work with IT user technologies such as personal computers, mobile devices, Google Apps, video conferencing solutions, etc.
  • Identify hardware problems and determine efficient resolutions.
  • Report recurring problems to network engineers.
  • Coordinate repairs and replacement of damaged equipment.
  • Install and test equipment at user sites.
  • Meet service performance operational goals.
  • Maintain awareness of related IT programs and projects.
  • Support non-standard applications critical for the business.
  • Troubleshoot network environment problems and escalate if necessary.
  • Act as a technical resource and IT business partner to internal users.

Top Skills:
  • Familiarity with Google applications/Google Suite.
  • Prior experience with desktop support and hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Documentation and execution of in-person ticket resolution.

Work Environment:
  • Onsite 1 day a week, Mondays, 1st shift (flexibility on start time), for 8 hours.
  • Office environment support for 50-80 users, with occasional support for manufacturing floor employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Associate Technical Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years of technical support experience.
  • General customer service experience.
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.
  • Experience in Windows OS and corporate network environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
