Job Title: AEM Content Author
Location: 3-days per week at client office - Basking Ridge, New Jersey 07920
Mode: Contract

Job Description:
The AEM Content Author is responsible for creating, editing, publishing, and managing digital content within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines and digital strategy. This role requires expertise in leveraging AEM's core features, particularly the Touch UI, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Digital Asset Management (DAM), to deliver engaging and consistent user experiences across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Authoring: Author and publish engaging digital content (text, images, video, documents, etc.) for websites and other digital properties using AEM components and templates within the AEM Touch UI interface.
- Content Management & Publishing: Manage the entire content lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, translation (if applicable), and publication processes using AEM workflows.
Content Fragments (CFs) & Experience Fragments (XFs): Create, manage, and utilize reusable Content Fragments for channel-neutral content and build Experience Fragments to assemble fully laid-out content sections or pages, facilitating consistency and efficiency across sites.
- Digital Asset Management (DAM): Manage and organize digital assets (images, videos, PDFs) within the AEM Assets (DAM) repository, ensuring assets are tagged, curated, and optimized for web use.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks of all authored content to ensure accuracy, brand voice consistency, adherence to style guides, and proper functionality across different devices and browsers.
Optimization & Standards: Implement SEO best practices (metadata, alt tags, keywords, etc.) and ensure all content adheres to accessibility (WCAG) standards and legal requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as an AEM Content Author or in a similar web content management role.(atleast 5 + years)
- AEM Proficiency: Strong, hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, specifically the AEM Touch UI authoring environment.
- AEM Specifics: Expertise in working with AEM components, templates, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Content Management Systems: Solid understanding of web content management principles and experience managing assets within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and an understanding of how content integrates with underlying technical components.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
