Job Title: Oracle Retail RMS Integration Developer (Integration Lead)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail RMS Integration Developer to join our growing team as a hands-on Integration Lead. This role will focus on building scalable integration solutions across Oracle Retail systems (RMS/ReSA/RIB), leveraging modern cloud platforms and enterprise-grade messaging tools such as Kafka and GitLab. The role involves leading migration and modernization initiatives including an Oracle upgrade from v16 to v21, while actively participating in hands-on development (80%) and mentoring or driving projects (20%).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Inventory, Supply Chain, and Finance integration solutions within Oracle Retail systems (RMS, ReSA, RPM).
- Drive integration modernization initiatives, including a large-scale Oracle upgrade (v16 to v21).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and troubleshoot complex Oracle PL/SQL, Pro*C, Unix Shell Scripts, and message-driven integrations.
- Deploy and monitor applications using AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure; contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Utilize Kafka for event-driven architectures and ensure real-time, reliable messaging between systems.
- Guide junior developers and act as a technical SME for integrations and modernization strategies.
- Maintain documentation, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to agile and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of techno-functional experience in Oracle Retail systems, especially RMS, with exposure to ReSA and RPM.
- Hands-on expertise in PL/SQL, Pro*C, Shell scripting, and Kafka streaming technologies.
- Experience working with RIB (Retail Integration Bus) and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven/Gradle), and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug large-scale retail applications and integrations.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and containerization using Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with TES or similar job schedulers is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments.
