Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloud Infrastructure to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure with high availability and scalability.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Integrate AWS Lambda functions for event-driven workflows.
- Manage AWS resources including S3, RDS, IAM, and secrets via AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault.
- Implement secure and scalable secrets management strategies.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams.
- Stay current with cloud technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
- Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development.
- Advanced secrets management experience (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and observability in Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitOps tools (Flux, ArgoCD).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- AWS and Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with container security and compliance.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience (required).
